Communication Rescue Services- Bridging the Communication Gap

A Team of Two- Hilary Sample an SLP has teamed up with a physician Steven Richman to help bridge the patient to provider communication gap. A gap that negatively impacts the healthcare quality for people with Aphasia and other communication disorders.

The Mission: With the Medical Concerns APP,

Communication Rescue Services' mission was to create a tool that will bridge this patient-provider communication gap.

We want to improve healthcare equality by reducing the impact of suboptimal communication training.

Effective Communication is key in adhering to the "Patients' Bill of Rights" as well as meeting Joint Commission Standards.
