For over 15 years, The Aphasia Center has exclusively assessed, advised and treated clients with aphasia, apraxia and dysarthria. From clients who cannot speak yet, to clients who are almost ready to return to work, Dr. Bartels-Tobin and her therapy team are ready to help your family. All therapists have a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology and are trained by Dr. Bartels-Tobin for a minimum of 2 months before they work with our clients. Training includes assessment, theoretical language models, evidence-based treatment and daily client analysis. This is significantly more directed training in aphasia than clinicians typically receive over their careers.
